Zanella Automotive Repair is open amid the COVID-19 crisis. Our current business hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Please call (403) 938-7937 to make an appointment.

The mechanics will instruct you for effortless and contactless drop-off and pick-up.

If you are dropping off your vehicle and do not wish to enter the office OR are dropping off your vehicle outside of regular business hours, please follow these simple steps:

1.) Place your keys in an envelope, clearly marking your name, phone number, vehicle make/model and the reason for your visit. If you wish, please also name your mechanic.

2.) Place the envelope in the drop box on the south side of the building.

3.) The mechanics will call you directly. Once the work is complete they will make arrangements for you to pick up your vehicle.

Please make arrangements for drop-off and pick-up while your vehicle is being serviced (waiting on-site is not permitted).

We will disinfect the vehicle before and after your service. There may be a strong smell afterwards but these are precautions to keep you safe.

We ask that payment be made via credit card over the phone (403) 938-7937 (where applicable) before picking up your vehicle.

Please keep yourself and your family safe and protected.

Coolant. Most new radiators have overflow bottles marked min and max water levels, which are easy to find.
Tires. The minimum legal tread depth is 3 millimetres.
Spare tire pressure.
Engine oil.
Windscreen washer fluid.
Lights.
Fan belt.
Hoses.

Tips

Save time and money... always have two sets of wheels, one for winter and one for summer. This will help your tires last longer.

Timing

To beat the rush always think ahead. Don't wait until the last minute to change your tires. Winter tires don't need snow to be efficient. All season and summer tires lose their adhesion qualities in cold conditions.

Small things

Change the oil.
Change the oil filter, air filter and fuel filter.
Check the PCV valve for proper operation.
Check the spark plugs and spark plug wires.
